20 Bench Laboratory Room


Our Laboratory Room has 21 lab-stations and is used for training Laboratory Technicians in new skills. Each station is equipped with a Kavo straight hand-piece speed and suction unit. All desks have an individual daylight lamp and computer monitor. This relays a feed from the tutors desk from a microscope, camcorder or laptop for an unbeatable AV set-up.

This room is also designed for casting up, as we have plaster traps on all sinks. We can provide free standing gas canisters and we have compressor feeds if you wish to bring any equipment with you for your course.

25 Station Phantom Head Room


Take a look at our impressive Phantom Head Room. Each station is equipped with a Kavo fast, slow and speed increasing hand-piece, three-in-one tip, individual suction units, a Kavo light and a monitor. The monitors relay a feed from the tutors desk from a microscope, a camcorder or a laptop. We also have two 60-inch Television screens to provide a truly remarkable audio-visual set-up.Our typodonts easily powder, and do not burn like some acrylic teeth. We can also order endodontic or composite teeth, perio jaws, pigs heads and a whole range of teaching props should they be required. The room itself is fitted with daylight lighting to provide perfect conditions for courses. 50 Seater Lecture Theatre


At the Dental Academy of Excellence our lecture theatre comprises of 50 seats in the traditional raised seating style in a state-of-the-art environment offering modern audio-visual equipment which allows any presentations or lectures to be given to delegates in an engaging and professional backdrop. We also have a two way AV feed to an adjacent surgery so the delegates can watch a live surgery and ask questions of the tutor during the surgery.

6 Working Dental Surgeries


At the Dental Academy of Clinical Excellence, we have 6 fully working dental surgeries available for your use with full audio-visual link to the lecture theatre. All 6 working dental surgeries have cabinetry for your use, basic amenities, a beautiful new dental chair with light, spittoon unit and fast/slow/straight hand-pieces. Should it be required we also have digital photography equipment, intra-oral x-rays and digital OPG.We have all the facilities required to treat patients for every procedure, from simple consultations to complex implant cases and these are available for use on dental courses.Our working Dental Surgeries are available for hire. Bar and Dining Area


You will no doubt find some of the decoration a little ‘eclectic’ in these areas. Prem does not often turn his hand to interior design but when he does the results are definitely memorable! Many delegates seem to enjoy having their pictures taken with the various life-size superhero statues that are on display and we often have their children in to visit too!If you are not driving we have a selection of beers and wines for you to enjoy with your lunch or throughout the day.

Dedicated Staff On-Site


One of the things we are most proud of at the Dental Academy are our staff whether you call to book aDental Course or make an enquiry. Our lovely team are always on hand to help, nothing is too much trouble and it is one of the reasons we have been working with the same course providers for years. On any given course day we will have between 2 and 3 members of staff on site, 2 of which are registered dental nurses should you need any assistance with your course day.At the Academy we have beautiful, state of the art facilities, fantastic location…but best of all, service with a smile. Spacious 5500 SQ FT Facility


The Dental Academy facility itself is a spacious 5500 square foot building nestling in a fanatic spot near Pugneys Water Park and surrounded by woodlands.

This site was chosen as it is on the M1 motorway, Wakefield Westgate is major train station on the London-Glasgow main-line and Leeds-Bradford Airport is less than half an hour away.

The Academy has free wi-fi, several large screen TV’s, a fantastic bar area and our friendly staff are always on hand to ensure you have a pleasant and enjoyable time with us. We have created a uniquely refreshing environment designed to inspire, educate and entertain the whole dental team.

Full Catering on Course Days


If you haven’t heard of the Academy for its amazing facilities then you may well have done for the catering! We can cater for all dietary and religious requirements. All dental course prices include the catering from which you can choose either a cold buffet provided by a local caterer, or a home-made Indian buffet cooked by Prem’s parents, which is always the highlight of the day. We also provide in the price, a breakfast of pastries and snacks, mid-morning and mid-afternoon refreshments.We would recommend taking the home cooked option as our many visitors often tell us they return time after time simply because of the dinners!

Large Decontamination Room

We have a large decontamination room that we use for the surgeries but can be used for nurses training or implant protocol courses. It is set up in the required HTM-01-05 format and has the very latest equipment to include washer disinfector, vacuum autoclave, distiller and surgical scrub sinks.

There are also changing rooms should delegates need to change into their work uniforms for the courses.
